Grand-Dad's Retirement Party

The primary reason for our trip to Tennessee the last weekend in April was to attend the retirement party my father, aka Grand-Dad's, faculty were throwing for him. It was held at the home of Winston Morris, or as I've called him my entire life, Mr. Tuba, and his wife Bobbie. It was a lovely party with fantastic food and we appreciated all the effort put into the party tremendously! It was also really nice that Andrew and Jen were in town to share in the festivities.

MaryAnn Danner (wife of the current TTU composer and music professor, Greg Danner) and Mom have been close friends for a long time. The Danners along with the Deckers helped the Moris' throw this retirement party for Dad.

Thank you to everyone who worked on and attended this celebration for Dad! We all appreciated it! I personally enjoyed having the opportunity to see many people I grew up with, baby-sat for and some whom I even had as college professors. Congratulations on your upcoming retirement, Dad!
