Swimming with Cousins

While in Indianapolis we enjoyed playing in the hotel pool with our LaBar cousins. Here are three of our sweet swimming beauties. :)
There were some pretty cute little boys in the pool too :)
 My three big munchkins
What a sweet face and smile :)
Aunt Ashley, who was 5 months pregnant at the time, was super sweet throwing Reagan into the pool. Reagan of course loved this since her general rule is the wilder the better! :)
Uncle Daryl having fun with his cute kiddos
Such a sweet picture of Aunt Jolene with her little guy! :)
Cousins are so much fun! Thanks for making time to come play with us! :)

Indianapolis Children's Museum

In February we traveled to Indianapolis for the "Circle of the Stars" gymnastics meet for Reagan. We were able to see my cousin Daryl and his family who live there as well as Dan and Dorothy joining us from Lexington, Grammy from Tennessee, and Uncle David and Aunt Jolene from Michigan. We had a great trip which began at the Indianapolis Children's Museum Saturday morning. Here we are attempting to get a picture of the two grandma's with their 8 grandchildren as we entered the museum... :)
 Little archeologists in the making...

My little dinosaurs doing their best to hatch an egg or two... :)

 McKinley having fun with Grammy
Reagan and Jackson working with Grammy to put an Egyptian Sarcophagus back together
Kennedy and Jackson helping (?) Grammy assemble Terracotta Soldiers
Kennedy and Reagan completing their soldiers
Oops, McKinley got mixed up in the Terracotta Soldier pieces...
My little explorers as deep sea divers discovering buried treasure
Sweet almost 7 year old cousins - they still look so little and sweet to me in this picture though! :)
Because it was the Chinese New Year there were some special demonstrations and art activities the kids (and grandparents) enjoyed. Here we have four of our very own Terracotta Soldiers to take home with us! :)
 Jackson enjoying the construction zone
McKinley taking a break with Great Uncle David while the big kids enjoy the museum
 Water play

Reagan and Heidi climbing the rock wall
 Go, Heidi, go!
  Reagan almost to the top!
 She made it! :)
Thanks for such a super fun day everyone! :)

Pumpkin Carving 2013

I'm going to do my best to get everyone in the mood for fall with the next few posts. :) It actually strikes me as funny to be posting these pictures now, but I am once again going to do my best to choose the biggest/best/fun activities we've done in the last 9 months and make some attempt to get caught up and stay caught up. Hopefully I won't lose my external hard drive again, that would certainly be a good start! :)
~
We were invited to a pumpkin carving party at a friend's house in late October. We decided it would be easier to gut our pumpkins at home. As you'll see below, we also decided to take the easy way out on one pumpkin since our costume theme was "Monster's Inc" last year. Grammy was a good sport helping the kids who as usual were not overly excited about the pumpkin guts.

Jackson's Mike pumpkin :)

The cutest little pumpkin in the patch enjoying the empty pumpkins :)
Tim was of course one of the best and busiest carvers
After the pumpkin carving party we swung by Uncle Dan and Aunt Dorothy's house to finish our pumpkins up and also see some other cousins who were in town. We do love cousin fun! :)
