Tennessee - August 2013

In August we headed to Tennessee for a visit and to get McKinley's 6 month pictures taken. While we were there we had a great time with Grammy and Grand-Dad and all the friends we were able to catch up with. Thank you everyone for hosting us!

The kids found a cicada shell outside and thought it was pretty cool that it stuck to their fingers.

Grand-Dad was working on cutting a piece to repair part of our deck railing. The kids enjoyed watching him with the saw and Reagan was interested in the smell of freshly cut wood as well.
One evening we used Grammy and Grand-Dad's fire pit to make hotdogs for dinner. Instead of Smores for dessert the girls introduced everyone to Doughboys. Here's Kennedy giving Grand-Dad the rundown on how to create the perfect Doughboy.
Nothing like sharing a sweet treat with someone you love! :)
Jackson and Grand-Dad working together to make a super yummy treat!
And the verdict was... we (and everyone else) loved the Doughboys just as much as we remembered from Girl Scout camp! :)
