Easter Day 2012

Here are some pictures we took through out the day on Easter that didn't quite fit in my other two posts. I think this picture Grand-Dad caught of Reagan coming down the stairs Easter morning to see what the Easter Bunny brought is so sweet. She reminds me of a real little princess.

After church (and pictures) the kids enjoyed chocolate bunnies from their Easter baskets as well as Krispy Kreme donuts.

Jackson discovered a love of basketball Sunday afternoon. He would stand in front of the hoop with the ball and go up and down on his tip toes doing his best to jump.
Jackson quickly discovered making a basket was greatly simplified when Daddy helps out.

Aunt Dorothy began a wonderful new tradition for us this year. It is actually something she remembers from her childhood in Poland but she had never made one on her own. This beautiful creation was a wonderful tasting lamb pound cake. It was delicious! When she brought the idea up of us making one I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be but she did a fabulous job and we were all happy to welcome this tradition to our Easter festivities! Thank you for all your hardwork on this beautiful and tasty dessert!
We again hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We hope you were able to spend this blessed day in the presence of friends and family as we were!
